A new Dune: Awakening update has arrived following the survival MMO's recent Chapter 3 update, and it packs quite the punch of content with a fresh overland location – The Ruins of Tsimpo – to explore and much more.
Dune: Awakening 1.3.10 is here, bringing with it a plethora of bug fixes and changes that are already pleasing eager fans ahead of the upcoming character migration and server merges.
As the official patch notes detail, the first big addition to come with the patch is The Ruins of Tsimpo, a new unique location accessible via the overland map. Funcom describes it as "a haunted place," marked by talk of "ghosts and madness." Spooky.

There are five new Landsraad missions tied to the Ruins of Tsimpo as well, with one for each specialization, along with an overall tweak to the Landsraad end time so that it's five minutes before the Coriolis apex.
This means "almost no downtime to when Landsraad missions can be played," as Funcom writes. "This also means that voting and the previously elected decree last until five minutes before Coriolis reset."
That's not all, either. Other adjustments include some to PvP damage so that vehicles and structures can "better handle the increased damage output from high-grade weapons and augments."
There's a new Battle Rifle variant, too, which folks will automatically receive in their customization menus as soon as they log in between now and April 25, so it's important to note that it's a time-limited treat of sorts – but nonetheless, it's a treat.
Overall, comments show that fans are quite pleased with 1.3.10. "Looks like a good update," reads one reply. Another player exclaims that they "can't wait to play," while further down, somebody states that the game actually feels "smoother" in its entirety after the patch.
