A Game of Thrones: Genesis trailer fights for the PC throne
Focus Interactive mixes gameplay and swordplay in new video
Focus Home Interactive has released a new trailer for A Game of Thrones: Genesis in honor of Peter Dinklage's recent Emmy win for his role as Tyrion in HBO's Game of Throne TV series. True, that last part was an optimistic assumption, but the footage is the real deal and it's the best look at Cyanide Studio's PC strategy game to date:
The game takes place before the popular George R.R. Martin books, which accounts for the existence of fully grown dragons toward the end of the video. In it, players will re-enact key events and conflicts in Westeros and beyond over a thousand year span. The game will also feature a multiplayer mode wherein up to 8 players can engage in an Iron Throne throw down.
A Game of Thrones: Genesis arrives exclusively for the PC on September 29.
