Once you’ve thumped an enemy into submission, you get to add its spirit to your inventory, and thus you gain access to its particular attack. The catch is that you can only use four creature souls at any one time via the face buttons, so you’ll need some sort of defensive spirit, a melee attack, a ranged attack and something for taking out large groups of attackers. There’s also the Mind Capacity bar, which empties as you use your spirits’ powers, to bear in mind.
