Final Fantasy XV is the new name of Versus XIII, coming to PS4

Announced almost seven years ago, fans had been waiting for Final Fantasy Verrsus XIII for far too long. After rumors of it getting cancelled quietly, director Tetsuya Nomura offered up a video message to fans at the Sony E3 2013 press conference. Versus XIII might have the same story and world, but now it’s on the PS4 (opens in new tab), and it’s been renamed Final Fantasy XV! Check out the first trailer and screens below:

Stay tuned for the video soon. Square Enix revealed the game, but hasn’t announced if the game will also appear on the Xbox One (opens in new tab), but FF fans should just be happy to know Versus still exists, and that the the franchise at last has a non-MMO that goes past the number 13.
