Fast & Furious 8 cast photo reunites Toretto's happy family

Dom Toretto's big, happy family reunite for another round of death-defying stunts in Fast & Furious 8, the next chapter in the petrolhead franchise that kicked off filming in Cuba last month. With a new image posted to Vin Diesel's Instagram, we've now got a good look at who's still a part of Toretto's crew and who they're going to square off against.

That is one massive line-up. Of course, it's no surprise to see the regular crew back in action; Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges and Tyrese Gibson are all present. Dwayne Johnson returns as Hobbs and Nathalie Emmanuel as hacker Ramsey, both joining the good guy ranks again. Still, our heartstrings get a little tug as this is the first cast photo to not include Paul Walker.

Baddie-wise, this movie's absolutely crammed full of 'em. Leading the villainous activities is Charlize Theron's Cipher, who'll be aided by her henchman played by Game of Thrones' Kristofer Hivju. On the far left of the pic you'll also spot Jason Statham reprising his role as Deckard Shaw. How their evil plans slot together remains to be seen. It might have something to do with Kurt Russell's Mr. Nobody. Yeah, like we said, big cast.

Directed by F. Gary Gray and starring Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Charlize Theron, Kurt Russell, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Scott Eastwood, Kristofer Hivju and Jason Statham, Fast and Furious 8 is due to open in the US and UK on April 14, 2017.
