The live-action Legend of Zelda movie has reportedly found its Ganondorf in Australian actor Uli Latukefu.
Deadline reports that Latukefu has been cast to play the Zelda movie's main antagonist across multiple movies, which supports rumors claiming Nintendo and Sony plan to make a trilogy out of the live-action adaptation.
Latukefu is best known for playing Dwayne Johnson in the NBC sitcom Young Rock and Byamba in the Netflix drama series Marco Polo. He joins a cast led by The Haunting of Bly Manor's Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, who will play lead hero Link, and Renegade Nell's Bo Bragason, who will play Princess Zelda. This is the first new casting since Ainsworth and Bragason were revealed as the film's leads.
The movie will be the first official live-action adaptation of The Legend of Zelda universe on the big screen, although plot details are unclear at the moment. At the very least, fans can expect young adventurer Link to embark on a perilous journey to save Princess Zelda from the evil Gerudo warlock Ganondorf, a common theme from the games.

The Maze Runner trilogy director Wes Ball is at the helm with a script from Derek Connolly (Detective Pikachu) and T.S. Nowlin (The Maze Runner). The movie was originally supposed to hit theaters on March 26, 2027 but was delayed to May 7, and ultimately pushed forward to April 30.
