As if the previous trailers weren't upsetting enough, a new batch of creepy stills from Faces of Death has arrived.
The images, which were first shared by BloodyDisgusting, give us another look at those freaky mannequins... but I'm mostly focused on Dacre Montgomery's pantyhose mask, which reminds me a whole lot of the late Tom Noonan's killer in Michael Man's 1986 thriller Manhunter. There's also another mask that feels straight out of the Poughkeepsie Tapes... You can check out the new photos below.
The upcoming film isn't necessarily a reboot of the Faces of Death movies, which are mondo horror films that contain a mix of terrifying real-life deaths and a bunch that are staged (but still look pretty real). Instead, it concerns a young woman named Margot (Barbie Ferreira) who moderates a YouTube-like website and screens for violent or inappropriate content. When she stumbles upon a website that appears to be recreating some of the death scenes in the Faces of Death franchise, she's unable to tell what's real or fake... and decides to watch (what appears to be in the trailer anyway) the original 1978 Faces of Death on VHS.
