Elizabeth Olsen discusses Scarlet Witch’s "unique" relationship with Vision

Avengers: Age of Ultron introduced us to the Maximoff twins and only one of them made it out alive - Scarlet Witch. Her dedication to the Avengers saw her brought on board as one of the team right at the end of the movie too. So it's no surprise that she's back for Captain America: Civil War where she'll be fighting on Team Cap. And perhaps dabbling in a spot of romance with Vision?

Wait, what? They're fighting hell for leather in the trailer! That might be the case, but they're lovers in the original comics. So now that the pair are sharing living quarters at the new Avengers HQ, is there a possibility what we're seeing is some kind of... superhero wooing? Here's what the Scarlet Witch herself Elizabeth Olsen said during an interview with Collider:

"Yeah, I mean I think there’s something unique in the fact that her powers come from the same thing that powers him, and that is how we’ve made them have that kind of… that specifically in common, as opposed to it being something else that the comics kind of created, which has been pure romance. But they do have something uniquely special because of that."

Okay so, they share a 'power heritage' but it sounds like love isn't in the air. Or is Olsen just being coy? Jeremy Renner chimes in during the discussion to say that if Scarlet Witch were to ever show up at Hawkeye's ranch for dinner she'd probably bring Vision as her plus one. Sounds like there's a chance Ultron's creations might become more than just partners in battle...

Directed by Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, and starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey, Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chadwick Boseman, Tom Holland, Anthony Mackie, and Sebastian Stan, Captain America: Civil War opens in UK cinemas on April 29, 2016 and May 6, 2016 in the US.
