Dead Space's Isaac Clarke is taking a breather from dismembering necromorphs to dominate the court in EA Sports' NBA Jam: On Fire Edition. In another strange bit of cross-promotion, EA this week revealed the armor-clad engineer is a playable character in the downloadable basketball title, which launched today on PSN, and is expected to land tomorrow for Xbox Live.

This is the latest in growing list of cameos for Clarke. Previously, Visceral Games' main man subbed in as an optional golfer in Tiger Woods PGS Tour '10, and as a skateboarder in Skate 3. His iconic armor has also turned up in Dragon Age II, Dante's Inferno, and Battlefield Heroes.

Clarke is joined by the cast of EA's SSX snowboarding franchise, who also appear in NBA Jam: On Fire Edition as an unlockable team. See him in action in the screenshots below.
