The first trailer for Crazy Heart, starring Jeff Bridges and Maggie Gyllenhaal, has arrived online and you can see it below.
With Oscar season in full swing, Bridges has suddenly emerged as one of the strongest contenders to nab a trophy with a performance that those who've seen the film describe as easily one of the best of the year.
In what sounds like a little like The Wrestler with a country music background, the movie finds Bridges as "Bad" Blake, a broken-down singer/songwriter who's lived through too many marriages, too many years on the road and too many drinks.
But a chance at salvation arrives in the shape of Jean (Gyllenhaal), a music journalist who discovers the man inside the brittle shell and helps him get back to performing - and living.
Crazy Heart has snuck up on everyone - shot last year, it hasn't shown up in any festivals but now has serious awards heat.
