Retro X-Men: Apocalypse trailer declares in the most '80s way possible; "Xavier's is totally rad!"

X-Men: Apocalypse takes place in the '80s, so it only makes sense that 20th Century Fox would release a retro-style trailer for the upcoming action flick. And anyone who sat in front of the TV with a bowl of cereal while watching Jem and The Holograms, He-Man, Danger Mouse and the like knows what that means: a whole lot of film grain, cheesy endorsements, 4:3 ratio, and bad graphics transitions.

In other words, it's beautiful:

While my favorite member of the X-Men is Nightcrawler, it's nice to see Jubilee get some screen time too. She really does epitomize "'80s X-Men". Here's the really fun part of the video though; call the number shown at the end of the ad and you'll hear Marvel guru and co-creator of the mutant superhero team, Stan Lee, asking you to leave your name and address.

Could some X-men swag be headed your way if you leave a message? We'll find out soon, true believers.
