The Expendables 2 has released a new gallery of images, featuring most of the primary players showing off a veritable arsenal of weaponry.
Stallone, Statham, Crews, Couture and Lundgren are all present and correct, as are newcomers Yu Nan and Jean-Claude Van Damme. The latter looks particularly impressive, holding out his knife in what can only be interpreted as the universal sign for "come get some".
Typically, Terry Crews has to go bigger and better than everyone else, packing a hefty-looking rocket launcher, while Jason Statham even gets to clamber behind the gun-turret of what looks like a fully-armoured tank!
The film will see Stallone's motley crew reconvene for a favour demanded by Bruce Willis' Mr. Church, pitting them against Van Damme's bad guy. His motivations are still shadowy, save for the fact he plans to wreak havoc with a massive plutonium payload.
Also featuring appearances from Jet Li, Liam Hemsworth, Chuck Norris and Arnold Schwarzenegger, The Expendables 2 opens in the UK on 17 August 2012. Take a look at the rest of the images, below...
