New FIFA 17 screens show off Bayern Munich's Frostbite makeover

After providing a sneak peek at Juventus in FIFA 17, EA has revealed how another club looks in the game's new Frostbite engine: German champions Bayern Munich.

New FIFA 17 screens show rescanned facial likenesses (starheads, in FIFA parlance) for Arjen Robben, Manuel Neuer, Jerome Boateng, Robert Lewandowski, Kingsley Coman, and Joshua Kimmich.

In addition to the screens EA has also dropped a Bayern Munich trailer for FIFA 17, showing the players being scanned for the game:

The reason for dropping all this Bavarian goodness in one go is that EA Sports has announced Bayern as an official partner club. From a business perspective, it'll mean opportunities for cross-marketing and content collaboration; from a gamer one, in means cool stuff like having the Allianz Arena in FIFA 17:

EA announced a similar deal with Juventus in July, and PES 2017 has been getting in on the act too – Konami and Barcelona are now business partners, meaning Camp Nou is exclusive to PES for the next three years.

Bayern aren't new to FIFA, but we will be getting Japanese clubs for the first time. And, it seems, the Norway women's national team too.

FIFA 17 is out on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on 29 September.
