The powers of the Fantastic Four are front and center in a new TV spot for Fox’s summer tentpole pic. Unlike earlier clips and trailers, this latest preview starts with the actual movie itself before it segues into a promotional ad for MovieTickets.com. Still, those first twenty seconds offer the best look yet at the quartet’s unique abilities.
The movie plucks its story from the Marvel comics and follows the journey of four specially-selected youngsters who wind up traveling to an alternate universe. As pop. culture dictates, this type of behavior often has side effects and this team are no different; they return to Earth imbued with new ‘quirks’.

Johnny Storm’s transformation into The Human Torch is by far the most impressive of the bunch, as he envelopes himself in a fiery haze before shooting off into the sky. There’s not a lot of focus on The Thing, but thankfully his hulking mass is paid its dues in a new poster banner that you can check out below.
Directed by Josh Trank and starring Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, Miles Teller and Jamie Bell, Fantastic Four opens in the UK on August 6 and the US on August 7.
