Film4 FrightFest 2015 reveals full line-up of films

Film4 FrightFest 2015 has unveiled its largest line-up ever, with the festival set to present seventy-six films across five screens, plus a host of special events. Running from 27 - 31 August at the Vue West End, Leicester Square, this year's horror extravaganza will boast 16 European premieres and 26 UK premieres, with films featured from across 18 countries.

Home-grown highlights include Steve Oram’s darkly comic Aaaaaaaah!, Dominic Brunt’s female revenge saga Bait and Ben and Chris Blaine’s sexually charged addition to the ever popular zombie rom-com genre, Nina Forever. Meanwhile, the festival will get its first ever Irish curtain-raiser in the form of David Keating's Cherry Tree.

The international arena is as well-served as ever, with titles to watch out for including Adrian Garcia Bogliano’s revered Scherzo Diabolico, Bruce McDonald’s Halloween-set horror Hellions and the latest from Israeli auteurs the Paz brothers, Jeruzalem. The James Wan produced Demonic will also make an appearance, as will Michael Thelin's supremely unnerving Emelie.

In addition to celebrating the bigger names in horror, this year's FrightFest will be hosting a special "Discovery" strand, showing off the best the independent scene has to offer. Don't miss the world premieres of Jaron Henrie-McCrea’s Curtain, Russell Friedenberg’s Wind Walkers, Padraig Reynolds’ Worry Dolls and Benjamin Moody’s Last Girl Standing.

Festival and day pass sales will go on sale at midday this Saturday, while single tickets will be available from 25 July. Check out the official FrightFest website to see the whole lineup, before getting your tickets here.
