Where to find all of the Assassin's Creed 3 Treasure Chests, with maps of every area

The Frontier: North

Black Creek

AC3 Treasure Frontier North 1

Chest 1
Rewards: $7500
This chest can be found within the Fort Duquesne. When you enter the fort, go to the west side and climb the ladder to the look out. From there hop across the branches to the center ledge to reach the building. Look for the chest to the right side.

Chest 2
Rewards: Iron Blade War Club Recipe, $750
This easy to spot chest can be found underneath a wooden structure in the center of the field.

John’s Town

Chest 3
Rewards: Coonskin Hat Recipe, Tea Recipe, Medical Charts Recipe, Shoes Recipe, Brass Rings Recipe, Weapon Handles Recipe, Flour Recipe, Clothing Recipe, Medical Equipment Recipe, Plows Recipe, Foxtail Scarf Recipe, $750
When you reach the map marker, the chest will be located behind the house there.

Great Piece Hills

Chest 4
Rewards: Ales Recipe, Digestive Tonic Recipe, Belts Recipe, Furniture Recipe, Mounted Elk Antlers, Paper Recipe, Boots Recipe, Eye Drops Recipe, Crate Recipe, Barrels Recipe, Bear Rug Recipe, $2500
At top the cliff in the center of the lake at the map marker, you will find this chest on the west side.

Lexington

Chest 5
Rewards: Saddles Recipe, Inks Recipe, All Purpose Remedy Recipe, Hats Recipe, Fishing Rod Recipe, Beaver Tooth Knife Recipe, Deer Jerky Recipe, Buttons Recipe, Poison Recipe, Black Powder Recipe, Golden Rings Recipe, $750
At top the church at the map marker, you can find this chest in the steeple.

AC3 Treasure Frontier North 6

Chest 6
Rewards: Ammunition Recipe, Smoked Elk Meat Recipe, Dyes Recipe, Stiffness Remedy Recipe, Weapon Blades Recipe, Artillery Recipe, Venison Heart Recipe, Disinfectant Recipe, Moccasins Recipe, Flint Recipe, Ship Masts Recipe, $750
For this rather tricky chest, you will need to climb up the rocks above the chest and find the opening in the ground around the wooden boards. Drop down and follow the cavern around to find the chest on a table at the end.

The Frontier: South

Troy’s Woods

AC3 Treasure Frontier South 7

Chest 7
Rewards: Italian Flintlock, $750
When you reach the map marker for this chest, there will be a small British camp where the chest is located. Wipe out the soldiers there and then find the chest inside the tent.

AC3 Treasure Frontier South 8

Chest 8
Rewards: English Flintlock Pistol, $750
When you reach the icon on the map, there will be a few British soldiers milling about in front of a barn. Either take out the guards or sneak into the barn and find the chest in the corner on the main floor.

Scotch Plains

AC3 Treasure Frontier South 9

Chest 9
Rewards: $7500
This chest is located in the St. Mathieu fort to the south. Clear out the guards for the easiest route to the chest as the guard captain and another soldier will be hanging in front of it.

Packanack

AC3 Treasure Frontier South 10

Chest 10
Rewards: Horseshoes Recipe, Candles Recipe, Insect Repellent Recipe, Fine Hats Recipe, Buckets Recipe, Sewing Threads Recipe, Glass Bottles Recipe, Snake Bite Antidote Recipe, Blankets Recipe, Bricks Recipe, Nails Recipe, $750
This chest is located in a British camp at the map marker. Clear it out and the chest is yours for the picking.

Monmouth

AC3 Treasure Frontier South 11

Chest 11
Rewards: $7500
This chest can be found in Fort Monmouth to the very southwest.

AC3 Treasure Frontier South 12

Chest 12
Rewards: French Naval Axe Recipe, $750
To the south of the treasure chest marker, there will be a cave along the river bank. Enter it and follow the passage to find the chest on a ledge.

AC3 Treasure Frontier South 13

Chest 13
Rewards: War Tomahawk Recipe, $750
Right at the southwestern harbormaster icon, there will be a building with British soldiers guarding it. The chest will be on a table with many soldiers standing in front of it.
