The TGS trailer for NeverDead, Konami's upcoming supernatural action-thriller, tries pretty hard to convince you that the title's the craziest thing you ever did see.

This clip's backing tune is the title track from the game's soundtrack, performed by garage-metal renegades Megadeth. The title's themes of dismemberment, demon-hunting and high-octane evil-against-more-evil gunfights make the band a pretty good fit.

Here's a closer look at two of the game's heroes, demonic demon-hunter Bryce and popstar Nikki. Below's a gallery of new screenshots for the game, slated for release before the end of the year.

A pretty cool gameplay idea. I'm definitely interested.

When are English localisations of Japanese games ever going to sound vaguely good? I hope this has the original voice track.

Looks dumb but badass, I'll play it.

What the eff did I just watch. How many Bleach voice dubbers are in it? Over the top Action and supernatural horror dont really combine well for me.

"Garage-metal band Megadeth." WHAT. IS. THE. MEANING. THIS.

^This. Megadeth is a THRASH METAL band who has been around since the 80s and are still one of the most profitable metal bands in the world. They haven't played a note in a garage since before you were probably born. Please don't lazily label things without checking first.

I think that was the joke.

I really like the premise and concept of this game, I'm just a tad worried that the graphics and the shooting mechanics look a bit generic and bland. But I'm hoping that the interesting characters, crazy story, and the original gameplay concept of limb separation will more than make up for it.

I'm really excited for this game. It's so unabashedly its own game, I can't help but love it.
