Question of the Week
What's YOUR game of the year? Answer in the forums and we just might read your answer on the show!

In the office

Above: What the hell is Brett doing? You know, other than preparing to drop his headset and interrupt everyone with an ear-splitting cacophony

Above: Tyler Nagata bought Dan Amrich's old Neo Geo, and is now that kid whose house everyone wants to hang out at after school. Don't mind if we do...

Above: Booze! CoolBowling sent us this bottle of Crown Royal, which we'll use to bring in 2010 when TalkRadar continues. You're a hero!

Above: How the hell did Chris' Christmas cartoon obsession work its way into the cast? And, for that matter, Solitaire? Listen to find out!

You guys rock, that podcast was overally enjoyable. I can't wait for that special "next podcast" so much that I listened to the old Christmas podcast right after this one!
  • SenorHurt - December 20, 2009 5:42 p.m.

Another great show thanks guys. Enjoy your time off these holidays. I look forward to future shows. Now if you'll excuse me I to follow the links to the article you mentioned in the show and think of my game of the year that isn't Modern Warfare 2 or ODST.

That solitaire bit was soooo funny!!
  • goochbiscuit - December 19, 2009 6:05 p.m.

Can't wait to listen to this tomorrow when I have to FUCKING WORK AT 3 AM.
  • Vagrant - December 19, 2009 1:46 p.m.

Dude, why's Carolyn dissin' the 'dar? And Brett; Parasite Eve is actually a sequel to the book, from what I recall. Aya is, like, the daughter of the woman from the book or something. The uh, interview with the Solitaire PR guy was good stuff. Now I'm so hyped for that game - the fact I'm not getting it for Christmas has ruined the holidays. I'm surprised the godawful storytelling wasn't mentioned regarding the Zelda fan movie. I mean, come on. It starts with a narration and then has baby link with a woman running through the forest. He has the triforce symbol on his hand in marker pen, etc. Long comment is Christmas present. ;D

What motion is Mikel doing in his picture?
  • bloodyshadow - December 19, 2009 5:29 a.m.

Wow. I feel like I'm the only one, but I thought the Solitaire pitch was one of the funniest things I've heard on the podcast in a while.
  • CommanderCrunch - December 19, 2009 5:22 a.m.

Since when did Brett become executive editor.
  • WaffleLeech - December 19, 2009 3:13 a.m.

I'll be taking this on the plane with me.
  • GamesRadarMikelReparaz - December 19, 2009 2:39 a.m.

@AlpineGuy: From Capcom, way back in the day when I reviewed Viewtiful Joe. I also have a red one that I think came with the sequel, or possibly the PS2 version. Also thank you all for not mentioning that the motion blur makes it look like I'm doing a furious jack-off motion.
  • CoolBowling - December 19, 2009 2:36 a.m.

Thanks again for another great year of Tdar!
  • AlpineGuy - December 19, 2009 2:32 a.m.
