The short E3 teaser trailer revealing the next Battlefront may only have been a few seconds long, but we pulled a few interesting details, like the fact that the battle was probably taking place on the ice planet Hoth. The vehicles that showed up (the AT-AT and Snowspeeder) are from the Galactic Empire era, so we wouldn't be surprised if DICE's Battlefront revisited the battlegrounds from the original trilogy.
We've already seen the Battle of Hoth, Yavin, and Endor plenty of times in previous Star Wars games, but that doesn't mean we don't want to relive those moments again and again in the new Battlefront with beautiful next-gen graphics. But outside the usual locations from the original trilogy and the prequels, there's another trilogy in the works, detailing Episodes VII, VIII, and IX. We doubt the new Battlefront will be out by 2015, which would put it in line with the launch of Episode VII. If that's the case, we're hoping we'll get to see some never-before-seen Star Wars locations inspired by the upcoming movies.
