Spy Hunter coming to Vita and 3DS this fall

The legendary arcade racing title will be returning this fall as Warner Bros will be releasing the first new installment in the series since the 2006 Xbox/PS2 title Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run.

While it's far from the Gran Turismo title that Vita fans are probably hoping for, a new installment in a classic series could be just what Vita fans need. We're positive this will be only one in a giant conga line of titles revealed for the Vita over the next two weeks as E3 ramps up, so stayed tuned as the announcements ring out.

Among all the power-ups that were listed in the trailer such as the rear proximity mines and the ability to turn into a boat I would definitely have to say my favourite one was keyless entry. Is that going to be their selling point on this game, I could imagine a trailer saying "Tired of non stop, heart pounding action in need for speed, bored of the immense realism of forza, agitated by blue shells in mario kart, well buy spy hunter because we have mother-f***ing keyless entry"

I'd rather see a downloadable remake of Super Spy Hunter for the NES. The newer Spy Hunter titles fell flat for me.

I'll pass, racing games rarely leave a mark.

It's cool how it was set up like a car commercial and all, but I hope to see a gameplay video soon. The first PS2 Spy Hunter was a fun game, as is the original, so this one might be worth checking out if I get a Vita.
