Soul Sacrifice Delta more sacrificial than ever next year in Japan

An expanded version of Soul Sacrifice is coming to Japan in March 2014, Comcept announced at Sony Computer Entertainment Japan's press conference today. Soul Sacrifice Delta will significantly expand the Monster Hunter-inspired game with new elements and items, Gematsu reports.

The three forces of Sacrificial, Salvation, and Neutral will clash in Delta's central conflict. Concept creator Keiji Inafune said the game is much more than a simple update, even though it's coming out less than a year after its initial release.

Soul Sacrifice Delta hasn't been confirmed for release outside of Japan, but it will at least be playable at Tokyo Game Show next week.

Why Japan, fuckin why? You make these games on the psp and now the vita, you make these games, and then you make then again, but with like two new things, but there really good things, and then you add a letter , and you sell it again, and again, but it always takes it's time to get out here too, you always make sure that the US and Australia are the last to receive them. It's just plain evil.

Inafune is having too much fun naming things. First Mighty Number 9 aka Beck, and now Soul Sacrifice Delta, which is clearly a play on Monster Hunter Tri.
