The Guilt Trip has released a first official trailer, starring Barbra Streisand and Seth Rogen as a mother and son who embark upon a cross-country adventure together.
Rogen plays an inventor who plans to travel across America in order to secure backing for his latest project. Taking pity on his lonely mother (Streisand), he suddenly decides to invite her along for the ride. Perhaps not the smartest move he’s ever made…
Naturally, being cooped up in a car together for hours on end leads to its fair share of awkward moments, but from the looks of the trailer, there’s plenty of sweet-natured bonding to be enjoyed too.

From what we’ve seen so far there are a fair few gags that hit the mark, and the Rogen-Streisand double-act seems to blend gentle affection with comic chemistry to surprisingly pleasing effect.
Directed by Anne Fletcher and co-starring Adam Scott and Danny Pudi, The Guilt Trip opens in the UK on 22 February 2013.
