Red Dead Redemption’s Liars & Cheats DLC adds new multiplayer mode

Stronghold finds teams taking turns attacking and defending control points

Rockstar games has just announced details for a new Red Dead Redemption DLC pack. Titled ‘Liars & Cheats,’ the upcoming pack contains a mishmash of new features and options for multiplayer.

Poker and Liars’ Dice games can now be played with friends. According to Rockstar, this was ‘one of the most fan-requested features.’ Horse races have also been added to multiplayer. Four new hunting grounds, seven new gang hideouts, and a new weapon titled ‘the exploding rifle’ have also been added. But the biggest addition in Liars & Cheats is the new Stronghold multiplayer mode, which pits two posses against each other as they take turns attacking and defending a series of control points.

Check out the early screenshots below. We thought it was kind of neat to see all the gamer tags that the Red Dead development team uses.

The Liars & Cheats DLC for Red Dead Redemption is scheduled to release on September 21st on the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE.

I never really minded Jack. I did find his voice to be slightly bitch-like in inflection, but he gave a new feel to the game. I was no longer a retired cowboy trying to get by in a world I didn't understand, I was an angry, vengeful kid, living as the last new cowboy in a world thats moved on, to get rid of my kind. Plus, Jack looks better in a few of the outfits. Namely the gentlemen Attire, which never quite fit John.

I will be playing as Irish, without a doubt. Oh, and dude, everyone hates Jack because of his voice. John sounded like an old guy who's been through a lot. Jack sounds like a stuck up little kid. Besides that, I don't have a problem with him, besides the reason you have to play as him at the end of the game.

after jack jack grows up he barley talks, and in stranger missions he has the exact same lines as jonh. how dose that make him a whiny bitch?

!!!!!Spoilers!!!!!! Ok this is a bit unrelated but... seriously why does everyone hate on jack? john died a badass, just like the badass he was. He was old in the first place (in case you didnt notice) and all he did was for his family, and all he wanted was to allow his family to live a normal life, and even though it failed, he still tried, and he loved his son too. If you hate jack, then you probably didnt understand what the game was about...anyway im definitely getting this :D
