Point, click, and help a charity: Telltale Games extends The Great Adventure Bundle

Hours of adventure for a measly $20? And 25% of it goes to the charity of your choice? Start pointing and clicking!

Telltale Games' Great Adventure Bundle 2010 currently features five full games: The Whispered World, Jack Keane, the Kings Quest Collection, Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain Slick Precipice of Darkness Episode 1, and Puzzle Agent. But when total sales of the bundle reach 5,000, they'll throw in Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space as well.

Consider how much each of these games is going for on Steam, and you’re looking at $65 in savings right now, with another $30 if the 5,000 milestone is reached.

Above: Not too shabby

If $95 in savings isn't enough to get you interested in non-space-marine-combat games, Telltale is relying on your philanthropic tendencies. Like the Humble Indie Bundle from a few months ago, a portion of each purchase can be donated to one of the following charities: Child's Play, The World Wildlife Fund, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Nyota e.V., and the Electronic Frontier Foundation. So there you have it. Save $65 on some classic adventuring and help a good cause.

Above: PAA: OTRSPOD Episode 1, if you weren't aware

The bundle is on sale until this Friday.

jmcgrotty - wrong end of the stick dude... as the dundle is downloads, basically they are saying that if there are only less than 5,000 bundles sold then that will be it. However, if more than 5,000 bundles are sold then the promotion will have been a success, and they will have enough of a margin to basically reward everyone who's purchased it by giving them the Sam and AMx title for free. simples

"when total sales of the bundle reach 5,000, they'll throw in Sam & Max" This makes no sense at all. Knowing this information, who in their right mind would buy before the 5,000 threshold is reached? And if they reach it, what are those first 5,000 buyers going to feel about not getting everythng?

The only good games in the bundle are some of the King's Quest ones, most of which I think are abandonware by now. But charity is always good...
