New Guardians Of The Galaxy plot details explain Thanos' involvement

With Josh Brolin reportedly cast as Thanos in a host of upcoming Marvel movies, some new Guardians Of The Galaxy plot details have emerged online, explaining how he will appear in that film.

Naturally, said details are a mite spoilery, so if you want to go into Guardians as cold as possible, best stop reading now…

Vulture reports that Guardians will see Thanos make his first appearance in the form of a hologram, communicating with his underlings, the villainous Nebula and Ronan the Accuser, who will be acting on his orders throughout.

However, the report also claims that Thanos will make an appearance in the flesh later in the film, although just what he'll be arriving to do remains to be seen…

In the comics, Thanos's power derives from the Infinity Gauntlet, powered by the Infinity Stones Benicio del Toro's character, The Collector, has been hoarding. We'd suggest that's what stage one of Thanos's big plan revolves around…

Directed by James Gunn and co-starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and Lee Pace, Guardians Of The Galaxy will open in the UK on 1 August 2014.
