    >Shadow of the Colossus - mostly because of the amazing music. >Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando because if you let the demo reel loop it would come back to the start screen showing Ratchet playing Crash Bandicoot >Metal Gear Solid 3 - played the James Bond-esque Snake Eater vinete from the end of the Virtuous Mission >San Andreas - great music over panning shot of the city/state in cool cross panels >Kingdom Heart - again music. Guess I'm just a sucker for sweet music with interesting visuals.

Final Fantasy 8, though that was pretty epic with it's opera-singing style beginning music into low orchestral rumble as the camera starts to pan across the water... Also Assassin's Creed, the bird and the execution in particular, were pretty special.

What about the Scribblenauts games? You can spend hours on the title screen without pressing start.

Technically you had to press start to get Raz to appear on the brain but that was like an interactive demo mode...sort of. Definitely a sweet start menu
