Just Cause 3 creator teases E3 reveal

Shares

Just Cause 3 may appear at E3 2013, if our interpretation of a few not-so-subtle hints from Avalanche Studios founder Christofer Sundberg is correct. The enthusiastic Instagrammer posted an image of a man jumping from an airplane today, followed by this semi-cryptic response to a fan:

Sundberg posted another image to Instagram a few weeks ago, which shows the same man kicking an unfortunate motorcyclist off his ride atop a craggy path. We can't see the action-packed gentleman's face in either shot, but given his behavior and attire, it's a safe bet that we're looking at Just Cause 1 and 2 protagonist Rico Rodriguez. Or someone cosplaying as him.

Just Cause 3 has yet to be announced, but it's more or less an open secret that Avalanche is at work on the next in the sandbox series.

Can't wait for this. Just Cause 2 was like one of those games you would think up as a kid and playing it kinda made me wonder why nobody made this before. I mean everything is better with grappling hooks.

Jesus Christ, this is better news than the PS4.

I've yet to play Just Cause 2... although I HAVE already bought it XD I've heard nothing but awesome things, so getting a new one must be good news, eh?

JC2 was a great game. Cheesy voice acting and weak plot, but all the random stuff you could do was damn amazing. Made up for the shortcomings. I hope JC3 is a next-gen title.

Completing an average of 3-4 games per month not enough for you? This year alone I've played and completed Super Mario 3D Land, Dishonored, Far Cry 3, DmC, Fire Emblem: Awakening, and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. And note that both Far Cry 3 and Fire Emblem: Awakening are 40+ hours games if you're intent in finding and completing every sidequest and collectible, which I did. So yeah... the question here would be, do you even play as much as I do? :P And trust me, I'd play more, but I also have work and a girlfriend, and all that fun stuff. Also, commenting here doesn't take nearly as much time as you'd think ;)
