, in which Idris Elba stars as an escaped convict who sets about terrorising Taraji P. Henson's lone mother.
Arriving on the doorstep claiming car trouble in the middle of a wild and stormy night, Elba's character seems charming enough, but it isn't long before things take a turn for the menacing…
Using his hulking physical presence to supremely unsettling effect, this is a far cry from some of Elba's recent roles, and all the more effective because of it.

The film will see a reunion between Elba and director Sam Miller, who had worked with the star on a number of episodes of Luther , and looks to be a tight, taut little thriller.
Co-starring Leslie Bibb and Henry Simmons, No Good Deed will open in the UK on 31 October 2014.
