Hulk Hogan and Sasha Grey join Saint's Row: The Third’s voice cast

THQ’s Saint’s Row: The Third is sounding more like a cross between a muscle-bound beefcake and a porn star following news that former wrestler Hulk Hogan and former naked-person-of-note Sasha Grey will be joining the cast of voice actors. Hogan and Grey will be joining recurring cast member Daniel Dae Kim (Lost) and ought to up the ante for the kind of flashy fun the series is known for.

Dae Kim reprises his role as the now world-famous lookalike Johnny Gat, which is weird because, let's be real here, even Daniel Dae Kim isn't world-famous for looking like Daniel Dae Kim. Grey plays Viola DeWynter, a crime magnate characterized as  “savvy, if not ruthless.” She looks a bit like Sasha Grey if you squint. Hogan plays Angel De LaMuerte, a former pro wrestler who, perplexingly, looks nothing like Hulk Hogan despite being basically the exact same person with “also he's a violent criminal” tacked on the end. Do you dig this kind of stunt-casting? If there's any game that deserves a cast of outspoken brawlers and porn stars, surely it's Saint's Row, right?

Both Hulk Hogan and Sasha Grey will be at this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego and will be signing autographs on Thursday July 21 at the Saints Row booth (#5145). Expect more news on THQ’s sandbox crime spree as Saints Row: The Third’s November 15 release date draws nearer.
