Just picked something up, the guy hammering a for sale sign in the ground, this might be a hint at the fact that buy-able safe houses will be back.

Also the African American in the Sweater waving off the the other African American in the Tee shirt may be an implication of what has happend to the gangs.
  • samsneeze - November 2, 2011 12:26 p.m.

Because black people waving at each other = gang activity/former gang members.
  • BackwaterRifle - November 2, 2011 12:33 p.m.

It's not a hello wave, it's a no wave, look at it.
  • samsneeze - November 2, 2011 1:07 p.m.

    Same comment as above...
  • BackwaterRifle - November 2, 2011 4:16 p.m.

Nah, you see the difference this time is I am calling you out on it in a simplified manor, since I thought you thought the wave looked like a big ol' hello. So I don't think it is necessarily the same. Further more I find your "Same comment as above..." completely unnecessary.
  • samsneeze - November 3, 2011 10:50 a.m.

Actually my same comment as above was to acknowledge the fact that just because he motioned towards a guy and both of them were black, it does not mean that either were in a gang. Which is what he did. You can motion to someone you've never seen before, it happens all the time. So like before, Same as above.

Them's a lot of graphics! PLEASE fix the car handling this time!
  • garnsr - November 2, 2011 2:51 p.m.

The car camera was what always bugged me in GTA4, it was always too low. I'm still looking forward to Saint's Row 3, but I can't wait till whenever this comes out, too. Hopefully not too soon. All the open space that it looks like we get here might be a little too much too close to Skyrim's open spaces.

First off omg planes. Hell yes. Secondly please Rockstar, please let me roll with the Grove one last time. Even if only for a mission.
  • AntistaLovebot0069 - November 2, 2011 11:07 a.m.

My guess, since it looks like there are different protagonists, is that they have a character creator or multiple protagonists/storylines. Either of which would be cool. Also, it would be fun to have CJ back though, he was my fav GTA character.

anything i try to watch or read on this sight always leads to me staring at the ads for Skyrim and losing all interest in any other game. Even something as big as GTA V

Yup you said it right man.
  • winner2 - November 2, 2011 2:32 p.m.

Couldn't have said it better myself, I hope the next 9 days don't drag by..
  • Vordhosbn - November 2, 2011 10:43 a.m.

Looked awesome to be honest, better than I was expecting. It hasn't got me Saints Row 3 levels of excitement yet, but in a few trailers time it could well do, judging by this. More colourful than GTA4 = Happy.

Sure sounds like Ray Liotta- or at least someone doing a really good Henry Hill impersonation.
  • TrixR4Kids - November 2, 2011 10:33 a.m.

Sweet! At 1:06 looks like CJ running from the cops ;D
  • Octaviux - November 2, 2011 10:29 a.m.

Set in San Andreas, check out the police car license plate if you have any doubts. Will be interesting to see if there are any tie ins from GTA: San Andreas that was set in the early 90's
  • BackwaterRifle - November 2, 2011 10:51 a.m.

Most likely. would be surprised if there were no any.
  • veryweirdguy - November 2, 2011 11:07 a.m.

Don't be so sure - did IV have many references to past Liberty City characters?
  • Fox_Mulder - November 2, 2011 10:58 a.m.

Well yeah there was that and the huge "VINEWOOD" at the end.
