I was expecting an award along the lines of "Best game with cars in it" (or in classic GameRadar fashion, "Best game for racists" or something, lawls.) Gran Turismo 6, Forza 5, Drive Club, that other one I just forgot the name of...take your pick.

holy, that was an excellent one, mate xD
  • shawksta - June 14, 2013 6:05 p.m.

Hah, frankly ALL the Press Conferences had a racing game XD
  • Rub3z - June 17, 2013 6:17 p.m.

    I'm quite a racist myself.

You guys should add an award for "Best game nobody talked about for some reason" given to Monolith Soft's New "X" game
  • GR HollanderCooper - June 14, 2013 3:04 p.m.

It wasn't actually at the show, all we saw was a minute-long, contextless video. There's a good reason we didn't give it any awards.
  • shawksta - June 14, 2013 3:26 p.m.

That's understandable by all means, but frankly it's not that I want it to get an award, im just expressing the fact that for some reason literally nobody on any site decided to talk about it. It's the community and comments that had to bring up the fact that it was entirely ignored. Sure it was just a minute long but we got to see more footage of it. Yarn Yoshi wasn't shown at all at the direct, that is a perfect reason to not mention it atleast.

Maybe it's just that these sites just don't give two flying frigs about it. I for one wasn't impressed.
  • shawksta - June 14, 2013 6:08 p.m.

Everyone has an opinion, and i respect them. I personally dont care if it does get coverage, its just one of the more interesting Wii U games considering Monolith Soft is owned by Nintendo now and Xenoblade was a pretty kick ass game so its interesting what the heck their making thats filled with Controllable mechas in an open world.

Wasn't it cool how Master Chief had a poncho on protecting his heavy metal armor suit from sand? Does this not make sense to anyone else?
  • Swedish_Chef - June 15, 2013 4:51 a.m.

He secretly sold the suit while no-one was watching so he has money in store to keep his series afloat for when the Xbox One tanks. He wears the poncho so that no-one can see he's not wearing the full suit and so he can keep in character at his side job as a Mexican fruit vendor called HOLA.

You should write for the Halo TV series. DID YOU KNOW THAT YOU CAN WATCH TV, WITH YOUR XBOX ONE!?
  • jsty3105 - June 14, 2013 3:31 p.m.

Didn't Halo do the same thing too?
  • GR HollanderCooper - June 14, 2013 3:35 p.m.

And we gave it an award for being a dumb reveal.
  • obviouslyadouche - June 14, 2013 2:21 p.m.

C'mon, why no award for Dark souls two, half of these were made up to give to specific games.
  • Scoob - June 14, 2013 12:56 p.m.

Knowing full well your awards often have a few things tongue in cheek, I was expecting a best use of clam shells award for the Witcher 3 trailer.
  • n00b - June 14, 2013 12:49 p.m.

Come on! Dark Souls 2, Monolith Soft Project X, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Freaking The Division and you go and pick Battlefield 4 Who the hell is in charge of this freaking list. Do you even game bro. WTF
  • Vittles05 - June 14, 2013 12:14 p.m.

Waitwaitwaitwaitwait... Does that mean you guys saw Half Life 3? It exists? It's coming (albeit in several years)?
  • n00b - June 14, 2013 12:11 p.m.

Seriously not even The Evil With in, or Secret Poncho, or Mercenary Kings but Battlefield 4 GAAWWAASDGAISDGKLH what the hell man
  • n00b - June 14, 2013 11:37 a.m.

WTF!?!? Battlefield 4 for Best of show, wtf are you guys smoking? How can you Ignore Bayonnetta or Phoenix Wright, or Dragon's Crown, or Murdered Soul Suspect. But Battlefield 4, What the royal...
