Game of Thrones' Tormund teases a season 7 meeting with a fan favourite

Two of the many Game of Thrones' season 6 highlights were Kristofer Hivju's Tormund Giantsbane - whose flirty looks to Brienne birthed many a meme - and Bella Ramsey's Lyanna Mormont, whose resting bitch face puts all other resting bitch faces to shame. Now it looks like the two fan-favourites could meet each other in season 7.

Hivju took to his Instagram page to share a photo of himself and Ramsey, and while the Tormund actor takes care to note that he "can't tell you if our characters meet or not this season", given that both characters were present for Jon Snow's coronation chances are good that they'll acknowledge each other sooner rather than later.

She's super cool and a highly professional actor in the age of 11! Can't tell you if our characters meet or not this season - but I can tell you this: you have SO much to look forward to in season 7! Hallelujaaaaa!

It's fun to think of how a scene between Lyanna and everyone's favourite Wildling might play out, so here's hoping the show allows for the two characters to share a few minutes of screen time when season 7 debuts next year.

Season 7 of Game of Thrones will debut in summer 2017.
