Full list of upcoming Legend of Zelda concerts for North America unveiled

Yesterday we spotted the first new dates for the Zelda anniversary concerts in the US and Canada, but we thought the list seemed a little sparse. Now Nintendo has released a much more complete list of shows for the first half of 2012 in North America. Take a look:

Jan. 10                 Dallas, TX

March 14             Vancouver, British Columbia

March 26             Seattle, WA

March 28             San Francisco, CA

April 7                   Denver, CO

April 20-21           Phoenix, AZ

May 12                 Atlanta, GA

May 31                 Montreal, Quebec

June 22                 Austin, TX

July 14                  Orlando, FL

Sept. 29               Toronto, Ontario

You’ll find ticketing info on the official site for all the dates listed, and if you didn’t see your town on here, all isn’t lost. Nintendo promises that more 2012 dates and locations will be announced later this year. So, are any of you guys going?

WHY DID THEY SKIP NEW YORK? I'm not going to fucking Canada to see this.
  • jmcgrotty - January 6, 2012 5:53 a.m.

I am not quite sure why there are so few shows. My first guess would be due to venues, but how hard would it be to find a place that would hold the 17 people interested in this?

I might as well give up. It probably won't remotely hit my area (Seattle is closest, but it's still the other side of the state) until 2014 at least, if at all.

One is in Atlanta! I shall hopefully be going! Generally nothing interesting comes to Atlanta. :P
  • dizzzydragon - January 5, 2012 12:36 p.m.

Well fuck us in the midwest!
  • profile0000 - January 5, 2012 12:59 p.m.

I was about to say the same damn thing! I promise Chicago is a great city, Nintendo. Or if you have a concert in my hometown of Detroit you'll get some Canadians too.

ya if they list a chicago maybe I'll meet you there or I'll just go to the texas one
  • Person5 - January 6, 2012 3:38 a.m.

I don't get it, Chicago is the third largest city in the US (close to second) yet nothing gaming related happens here (mostly) please Nintendo, LISTEN TO US AND COME HERE!

  • Charlie_Fubar - January 5, 2012 11:29 a.m.

No love for the east coast Nintendo? I guess you forgot that selling your NES outta ny is what even got you on the map... Oh well, illegal download site here I come.
  • Arlips - January 5, 2012 11:22 a.m.

Of course, no locations planned anywhere close to New England or the northeastern US, as per usual with these types of niche gaming-related events. It surprises me how often we're left in the dust considering our part of the country is one of the most densely populated. Seems weird to leave out a huge cities like New York or Boston. At least we get love from Penny Arcade.....that's about it unless you're into anime which I'm not.
  • RODTheMaster - January 5, 2012 10:59 a.m.

No LA follow-up show? What is this blasphemy?! Guess I'm going to SF.
  • GameManiac - January 5, 2012 10:30 a.m.

San Francisco? Where can I get tickets?
