OMG stfu.. no one is going into gamestop and thinking, "should I get Gears of War 3....or angry birds?"

I have to be honest, I don't play any cheap apps, but seeing prices on and Steam and stuff I am having a really really hard time buying a game for $60 bucks. I know it may cost 100million to make a game but if I am done it in 6 hours, I am sorry that's not enough. There will always be room for 60 dollar games but the value proposition has to be there. $60 for Mass Effect or Skyrim is great, $60.00 for Killzone or Alan Wake? I don't think I am getting my money's worth. Don't tell me game companies can't make money with $30 SKU's because they can.

I can see the point here. Isnt also true that the avg player is in their 30's now. What does that say for these titles?
