Disney Infinity reveal trailer combines favorite Disney worlds

Where Disney meets Skylanders meets Minecraft

After a leak a few weeks ago, Disney Interactive officially unveiled their newest working title at an LA press event today complete with a reveal trailer and screenshots.

The game features Skylander-like interactive figures that players set on a power base and can play as one of their favorite Disney characters in the game. Besides being able to join several Disney-themed worlds, players also have the ability to create their own personal "Toy Box" world and combine gadgets, characters, and environments. Check out the trailer below:

I like how most of the characters shown are from Pixar and Pirates of the Caribbean. Though surprised that Micky didn't make an appearance in the trailer.

The game doesn't seem all that bad, its just the art direction they went for it looks too off.

Wow, it comes out for everything. Xbox, PS3, Wii, WiiU, 3DS, Microvawe, Toaster. Except the PC. Why? I mean the figures give you the perfect DRM. Then why skip the PC?

This actually doesn't look completely awful. It's like Skylanders but with characters I actually give a shit about

As good as that sounds, the statement would still be a whole lot better without the stigma of being "like Skylanders".

saying "like Skylanders" can mean 2 things, the concept of the figurines is what were looking at, not the actual game. This game is basically a toy box where you can choose a a disney/pixar character and go to an entirely different disney/pixar world.
