Conduit 2 getting exclusive limited edition release at GameStop, no extra charge

If you're partial to gold suits and game-related coffee table books, you may want to consider picking up your copy of High Voltage's Conduit 2 from GameStop.

North Americans who purchase copies of the Wii sequel from GameStop (while supplies last) will be gifted with a limited edition version for no added cost. OK, it's actually four cents cheaper at Amazon, but whatever.

The GameStop version of the game will contain a 44-page Conduit 2: The Art of the Game book, a gold destroyer armor multiplayer skin, and an enhanced 'Eye of Ra' in-game scanning device.

For those counting, that's one real book and two game add-ons in exchange for spending your money at GameStop. As far as exclusive content it's not the best stuff we've ever heard of, but for the low price of four cents, it's hard to complain.

Conduit 2 is set to waggle its way into our universe in February 2011.

Looks like a mix of Vanquish an Iron man suit with a "touch" of gold. No thankssss.

@everybody who is complaining or disgruntled It's not like it's The first Conduit packaged with this stuff. No, it's its sequel and, by the videos and previews I've seen, looks awesome. Sure the enemy AI is stupid, but that was just from an E3 video and they have undoubtedly fixed those problems. And they promised better hacker prevention and a great story. Unlike most game developers, they are actually listening to the fans.

i dunno if im going to get this. i got the first one when it came out because everyone was saying it was the best fps on the wii. it was kind of fun, but i beat it in a day and barely touched it since. for me, the first one was a letdown and a waste of good money that i could have saved for a better game. simply put, an artbook, a skin and a new ASE just isn't much of an incentive for me to feel comfortable with purchasing this game, at least not right away.

doesnt seem bad but not preordering learned my lesson from last year with all the dumb glitches and hackers kind of a waist of $ 50
