Bobby Kotick has a part in the upcoming Brad Pitt movie thanks to charity

Kotick's brief role in Moneyball – an inside-baseball flick based on the appropriately-titled book Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game – came as the result of a favor to the film's director, Bennett Miller. Kotick explains: “We were having dinner and Bennett was talking about Moneyball and he asked me a little bit about an owner’s psychology.” Reading the script, Kotick found dialogue for the character in question ringing false, prompting Miller to suggest Kotick himself play the role. Kotick agreed, on the condition that Miller direct a promo short for the Call of Duty Endowment, the CEO's non-profit organization which helps place returned soldiers into the civilian workforce.

Miller got Kotick's cameo, Kotick got his short, and the Activision head promises, “you'll never see me acting again.” Looks like we’ll just have to let snarky photoshop images do the acting for him.
