The Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag release date has been set for Tuesday October 29 on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC, according to a since-edited page on Ubisoft’s website.
The game is “also coming to next-gen consoles”, presumably at a later date in 2013, the site revealed, according to a screengrab posted on AGB, which also unearthed the artwork above.
The Ubisoft website currently features a timer counting down to Monday, when the publisher has confirmed plans to release more information on the newly revealed game. It also teases the release of the title’s debut trailer.
It has been rumoured that Black Flag will be set in the Caribbean, with players visiting multiple islands including Jamaica, Cuba and the Bahamas. We've seen the game and will have plenty of coverage for you when the embargo lifts early next week.
