Zelda: Twilight Princess HD has an amiibo-exclusive dungeon

Twilight Princess already has a ton of dungeons, but here's how to get another one for its Wii U incarnation: Amazon France has revealed that tapping the Wolf Link amiibo to the Wii U Gamepad in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD will unlock access to a new dungeon called "La Cave du Crépuscule," which roughly translates to "The Cave of Twilight."

Amazon France apparently jumped the gun on an announcement and has since pulled down that extra info, though both NeoGAF and Nintendo Insider already grabbed the pertinent quotes. Twilight Princess HD's retail version will come bundled with that sweet-looking Wolf Link amiibo, so you won't have to worry about tracking it down (unless you buy a digital copy on eShop). And as previously announced, the Wolf Link amiibo will transfer some kind of bonus over to Zelda Wii U if you use it to play Twilight Princess.

The listing says that tapping other amiibo from the Zelda series will give you in-game boosts like replenishing your hearts or arrows. Which means less need for potions and fairies, so you can keep all your bottles free for lantern oil, as nature intended. It also means that Toon Link amiibo I have collecting dust on my shelf will have another opportunity to earn its keep.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD will hit Wii U on March 4, while Zelda Wii U is still planned for 2016.
