The big names are up top in the exclusive new poster for Guillaume Canet’s gritty ’70s thriller – and why not, when you’ve got a cast like this…
Clive Owen is the man at the centre of the knotty New York crime flick – fresh out of prison after a grisly gangland killing sent him down. Waiting outside the gate is his sick dad (James Caan), his junkie ex-wife (Marion Cotillard), his new girlfriend (Mila Kunis), his cop brother (Billy Crudup) and his ex-girlfriend (Zoe Saldana) – all making it increasingly difficult for Owen’s ex-con to stay straight.
Blood Ties marks Canet’s first English language film after modern French classics like Tell No One and Little White Lies – co-writing the screenplay with the king of moody cop thrillers, James Gray ( The Yards, We Own The Night ).
Opening in cinemas on August 15th, Blood Ties will also be hitting digital download and premium on-demand services on the same day – meaning you can print this exclusive poster out at home, stick it to your bedroom wall and pretend you’ve got a cinema in your own house. If you really want to...
