Shyamalan is set to reteam with his Sixth Sense and Unbreakable star Bruce Willis for a brand new film based on one of the writer-director’s very first scripts.
Deadline reports that the pair are in talks to team up again for Labor of Love , a script that Shyamalan sold to Fox in 1993 but didn’t get made because he was fighting to direct the film too. The studio wouldn’t go for this arrangement and the project lay untouched for several years.
According to reports, the film is far removed from Shyamalan’s usual supernatural fare and will see Willis play a book store owner in Philadelphia who is haunted by the fact that he never properly told his wife how much he loved her before she died in a tragic accident.
Remembering that she once asked if he would walk across the country for her, he decides that this is the only way to show his love for her and proceeds to trek from Philadelphia to Pacifica, her favourite place.
