Pokemon Wi-Fi download event announced for HeartGold and SoulSilver: MEW!

Pokemonfans, are you sitting down? Because this is probably the coolestPokemon giveaway this generation. In honor of Pokemon Gold and Silver's 10th anniversary, Mew will be distributed via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection for Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver from October 15th - 30th.

Mew is already one of the coolest and rarest Pokemon of all time, and this Mewis particularly exciting because it's a blank canvas to train however you would like. Not only is it a mere kitten at level 5, but it only hasa singlemove in its moveset, Pound, which is a Normal-type attack.One of the best things about Mew is its versatility andvast movepool- it can learn any TM or HM. Imagine the possibilities! To top it all off, this Mew also comes in a Cherish Ball and proudly wears a Premier Ribbon, just so that everyone knows how extra-special it is.

So, if you were stuffing Pokemon like crazy into your Ranch to get that Mew from Hayley in My Pokemon Ranch, you can give it a break for awhile and just download Mew starting this Friday using the Mystery Gift option on either HeartGold or SoulSilver and selecting Wi-Fi download.
