Even though we just posted an awesome preview for Super Mario 3D Land, we got some new images and video from Nintendo that we just had to share. Not only does the game continue to look better with each trailer we get, but there’s some new character art that illustrates an epidemic facing the characters of Mario’s world. That’s right, everyone has Tanooki Fever.
That trailer was pretty great, showing off many of the levels and moves made with three dimensions in mind. But that’s not why you clicked on the story, is it? You wanted to see Bowser with a raccoon tail, right? Well, here you go:
Just as we saw yesterday with some new Mario Kart 7 screens, Nintendo seems to think the Tanooki power-up will fix all its problems, as it keeps popping up everywhere, including on Mario’s bad guys. Peep this lovely new character art to see more of the charming characters with and without tails in Super Mario 3D Land.
