The trailers for Star Wars: The Force Awakens featured an amazing shot of the Knights of Ren, but ultimately they only got a few seconds of screen time in the film. Thankfully that doesn't look like it's going to be the case for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, as a new rumour courtesy of Making Star Wars suggests they will be part of a major fight in Rian Johnson's sequel.
The report details a scene between a mask-less Kylo Ren and his Knights facing off against Rey and Luke Skywalker. While Ren and Rey have a one-on-one battle "alongside the cliff face", Skywalker dispatches the Knights of Ren (first with a Force push, then with his green lightsaber). The Jedi master eventually starts to make his way over to Kylo - at some point Rey is taken out of the battle - but Ren flees the scene.
As with any rumour we should take all of this with a pinch of salt, but I really hope this is true; this description points to a Skywalker who is at the height of his power, and a scene such as this would be a treat for fans.
