Lego Dimensions is adding Harry Potter, Adventure Time, Gremlins and 13 more IPs

Lego Dimensions has announced its plans into 2017 and to say that its got an impressive line up of IPs would be an understatement. In fact I would go as far as to say that its mathematical. Yep, Adventure Time joins Harry Potter, Sonic The Hedgehog, Beetlejuice, The Goonies and Gremlins as only some of the new offerings in a mega mash up of brands. If the combo of Harry Potter, ET and Batman in the trailer below doesn't make you crack a smile at least once, you might actually be a bit broken.

For the first time, Lego Dimensions is getting Story Packs which will accompany new films and have narrative driven gameplay. The first of these will the be Ghostbusters Story Pack which will follow the new movie. Other new additions to Lego Dimensions as a whole will be new four player battle arenas for competitive Lego action with all your characters.

The new slew of add ons will start on September 30 and it's a long list but will include Mission: Impossible and Adventure Time Level Packs, Harry Potter and Adventure Time Team Packs and The A-Team fun pack. Apparently arriving in "waves" until summer 2017 will be Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, The Lego Batman Movie, The Goonies, Sonic The Hedgehog, Teen Titans Go, Lego City Undercover, Knight Rider, The Powerpuff Girls, Gremlins, Beetlejuice and E.T. packs. Doesn't that just look like a list of bankruptcy. Hey, at least you don't need to buy a new starter pack. It all works with the original portal.
