A new image has emerged from Zack Snyder’s Man Of Steel , featuring Henry Cavill looking, erm, steely as the titular Kryptonian hero.
As great as it is to see Cavill wearing the famous suit, we’re more interested in what’s going on in the background, as Superman seems to be standing in front of the massed ranks of an army.
Is he leading them into battle? Or is he in their custody? After all, previous images have shown Cavill’s Superman being led in restraints by a group of military types.
In any case, there’s no debating how heroic Cavill is looking as old Supes. Furrowed brow, lantern jaw, nary a hair out of place… the man fills the suit with some panache.
Directed by Snyder and co-starring Russell Crowe, Amy Adams and Michael Shannon, Man Of Steel opens in the UK on 14 June 2013.
