When the recent synopsis was released for season two of Agent Carter, eyebrows were raised at the fact that only Jarvis and Daniel Sousa were confirmed to return to the supporting cast. However, judging by a new interview between Hayley Atwell and Den Of Geek, it sounds as though Howard Stark will also be making a reappearance…
"I’ve not started work on it yet, but it’s been written," says Atwell of the new season. "I do know that one thing they have decided is that it’s going to be set a year later. So it’s 1947, it’s going to be set in L.A., and I keep on thinking about L.A. Confidential, that kind of film noir, which would be great."
"And I think there will be a new romantic interest," she continues, "and then I think there might also be… well, there will be repetition of characters. So Jarvis and Howard will be there with us again. Yeah, we can’t have a show without those guys."
Marvel has still yet to officially confirm Dominic Cooper as the returning Howard Stark, but if Atwell has read the script, it seems she would be well-placed to comment! No official air date has been confirmed as yet, but the second series is expected to make its bow at some point in 2016.
