Does Ruben Fleischer know whos directing Justice League?

The ongoing Justice League rumours continue apace, with Gangster Squad director Ruben Fleischer seemingly confirming the director in an interview with Screen Crush .

When the topic of Justice League was broached, Fleischer said that he’d like to direct a big superhero movie, but that it wouldn’t be the DC Comics team-up movie.

When asked, ‘Why not?’, Fleischer responded, “Well that’s something that Zack Snyder is going to wind up doing.”

Screen Crush say that they approached Snyder’s reps for comment to no avail.

Right now, we’re filing this firmly under ‘Rumour’. It could easily be a throwaway comment from Fleischer, who’ll obviously be aware that Snyder is shepherding the latest Superman outing, Man Of Steel , to the big screen.

At this stage, it’s as likely to be a prediction as a confirmation.

Man Of Steel hits cinemas on 14 June 2013.
