Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey talk Magic Mike: video interview

Magic Mike has opened in UK cinemas, and for some reason, audiences are responding well to the concept of ultra-hunks Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey jettisoning their shirts and trousers and gyrating about on stage. Oh right.

Yep, the pair play strippers in Steven Soderbergh’s latest, which is loosely based on Tatum’s own experience as a young dancer.

Mike (Tatum) is the principal attraction at Xquisite, a club that plays host to a male revue act, overseen by McConaughey’s Dallas.

Thing is, Mike’s getting weary with the lifestyle, and is looking to make it as a furniture designer, but Dallas has other plans.
