Lara's Journal

When you start in the middle of Croft Manor go to Lara's bed room, left hand side of the stairs, a 2 room run all the way round. Go in the bedroom and there will be two swords, and in the middle of the swords there will be a head. Pull the swords and the head will split and u will find Lara's journal.

Use The Grapple Rope

Both me, and my parents found it hard using the grapple rope so here's how to use it: run forward, jump and shake your nunchuck (not you Wii remote!) and use the thmbstick on the nunchuck to swing forward. Once you are swinging really far, let go of the rope by pressing A, and there you are!

Easiest Way To Kill Final Conflict Boss

Lost Island-Great Pyramid

After the Cinematic Scene revealing Natla's Identity and demise after Lara's recklessness with the Scion, Lara is knocked back onto a platform where the Final Conflict Boss Dwells.

This boss is very simple in any mode I played game in hard mode. Tomb Raider's first game had the same creature a lot harder if you didn't have the Uzis.

Uzis are still the key to the easiest success of kill it. If you didn't get the Uzis from the Sphinx's Head, use the Shotgun, if you didn't get that use pistols.

Essentially you have to do two steps to kill it.

Step 1: Enrage the creature by strafing left to right with Uzis, keep in mind that your on a very small platforms. You goal is to get the creature to either the left wall or right. While he is enraged he we charge Lara, then you want to lock on and knock it into the wall. It's hand will be stuck and he will be pounding the ground until it frees itself. This is your opportunity to attack the stuck and to blow it off (you may have to use the right analog stick to move the lock on gage). Once you achieved that, enrage it once again, but this time have Lara line up with her back to the Lava Pit below. Your Goal is to have it charge Lara and you lock on and make it roll off the edge. (With it having no hand it takes long for it to pull itself up.) The Conflict Boss is now only holding the edge with one hand. Your goal is to shoot ledge holding hand before it can pull itself up. (I prefer the Uzis for the speed.)

A few Notes

*When it tries to pry it's hand free, the hand it hits the ground with will temporarily stun Lara (So jump before he strikes the platform to avoid this.)

*Also don't worry about the Items the game doesn't end there like it did in part one. You have a Opportunity to grab them later.

How To Defeat The Cenataur-Lizard Boss

My weapon of choice for this boss was the .50 Caliber Pistols but anything would work.

You start out with the two creatures circling you and shooting fireballs. Start shooting at either one and get the rage up. Once you get the rage up one of the creatures will attempt to turn you to stone. While it is charging the attack put away your weapons and dive continuously.

After the attack misses get its rage up again. The second time you get the rage up one of the creatures will attack you and you will have the chance to do a slow motion dodge/headshot. After the headshot the creature will become "dizzy". Use your grapple and grap the shield off the creature before it regains consiousness.

Get the rage up again twice and the other creature will attack you. Do the same thing and take his shield.

Now the creatures will only attempt to turn you to stone and wont attack you with a charge. This is what you do.

Get the rage of the creatures up and when they attempt to turn you to stone pick up one of the shields you pulled off of them and face the creature. The attack will backfire and they will turn to stone. Drop the shield and continue firing at the creature. Only this time it will hurt.

Do this 1-2 times per Cenataur-Lizard-Man Creature.

The Damocles Room In Greece

Damocles Room

The most confusing part was that the key is right in the middle of the second room waiting to be taken. So take it. Except you have to preform a last second dive out of the way of the falling swords.

Then the traps begin activating. Start by staying in the room you got the key in. In the back of the room there are some elevated stones. Climb those stones and make your way to the top of the skinny semi-square shaped elevated walkway. Once up you will see to your left a relic protected by spikes and to your right a lever. Make your way over to the right and jump onto the platform with the lever. What do you do? Pull the lever. You will see a video showing some spikes dropping. Get down and make your way into the other room.

Go to the right and staying fairly close to the wall make your way to the other side of the room where you came in. If you do this right you shouldn't encounter any spikes. But watch out for the falling swords. You can look up and see the general area where the swords are going to fall.

If you are at the door facing the room the key was in go right and to the back right corner of the room. There will be holds on the wall to climb up with. Once you get on the platform jump on the pole to your left. Climb to the top of the pole and jump backwards onto the pillar. If you are facing the exit door jump to the right and use the pillars to get to the wall. You should see a hold on the wall to grab onto. Once on the hold jump to the left and immediately use your grapple. Now it gets hard. While wall running you need to jump not forward but back onto the pillar. This wouldn't be hard if the camera didn't keep moving.

Once you get on the pillar use the other pillar to jump onto the platform above the door.

Easiest Way To Kill Natla (Final Boss)

Great Pyramid of Atlantis

Natla is the person who hires Lara to search for the Scion in the beginning of the game. Once all of the pieces Natla reveals her identity as the Queen of Atlantis, after passing the Final Conflict level you engage with her. I found there are multiple methods of killing Natla. I prefer using the Shotgun for max damage, Uzi does about 1/2 damage then regular pistol, and the former Magmuns are to slow, and less damage then shotgun.

There are two phases to the fight:

Phase 1: Its simply a endurance game. Dont waste any of your ammo just engage using the Pistols, until it goes to a cut scene displaying her weakness (Her Back).

Phase 2: Like any of the other bosses she can become enraged only different is she constantly charges you until her rage bar runs out. Most people think it has something with dodging left and right but your wrong. The easiest method is to attack pressing Left Analog Up and O to jump behind her to here weakness. Use the Shotgun continuously for best results. If you jump behind her to late while she is enraged you will be hit with her wings.

If she teleports just hold L1 it will constantly stay locked on her.

Took me about 20 Shotgun shells to kill her in Hard Mode. After that kick back and enjoy the Cinematic Scene.

Easier Way To Defeat T-Rex

T-Rex is simple to defeat, before you fight look around your surrounding locations, you'll notice four spike wheels. These wheels will essentially be the easiest way to kill the T-Rex. First line Lara up where a spiked wheel is at her back, then Enrage the T-Rex he will charge. Then jump to either the left or the right and lock onto him and engage, after engaging he will stumble and directly hit the spikes behind Lara causing the most damage possible to the T-Rex. It took me about three Spiked Wheels to kill him.

PS2 | Submitted by Silver Medal

Yet Another Easy Way To Kill The T-Rex

An even easier way to beat the T-Rex in Peru is to shoot him until his Fury/Rage meter is full. Notice that there are things that look like door frames, but at the top, there are spikes. When he charges at you, make sure that you are in front of the door frame with spikes, and he will run head first into it. But make sure that you do a head shot on him, just in case. If you do it right, he should die in about two charges.

How To Beat T-Rex In Peru

First, kill the smaller dinosaurs and follow the instructions on the screen right when the T-Rex comes out. Then shoot at the T-rex's head until the meter below his health is full. He will then charge at you. Shoot at him until he gets really close to then press O and either left or right on the left anolog stick. Repeat until he dies.
